Oskol Electrometallurgical Combine is a ferrous metallurgy enterprise located near the Stary Oskol city, Belgorod region, the only full-cycle metallurgical enterprise in Russia where the technology of direct reduction of iron and melting in electric furnaces are implemented, allowing to obtain metal practically free of harmful impurities and residual elements. The firstborn of the without blast furnace metallurgy in Russia. It is a part of Alisher Usmanov's Metalloinvest Metallurgical holding.

Project achievements:

Our specialists have implemented a project to modernize the lighting system using LED technologies. The illumination in the areas is brought into compliance with the norms. Modern Philips LED lamps with resistance to elevated temperatures up to 60-70°C are used in the "hot" areas. The achieved savings of the installed lighting system amounted to 75% of the installed capacity from the original.
