Project implementation

Mikheyevskiy Mining and Refining Facility is located 250 km away from Chelyabinsk, in the Varna District of the Chelyabinsk Oblast. The Mikheevskoye deposit of porphyry copper ores is one of the largest deposits in Russia. Its erection became the largest project for copper ore extraction and refining in the post-Soviet space. The project was completed in record-breaking time.

Project achievements:

Philips BY698 lamp with a unique cooling system is used, due to the use of through ribs, dust does not settle on the lamp body. The work was carried out in shifts around the clock, in the winter months the temperature dropped below -30°C, which significantly complicated the installation work.

The BM-ELECTRO team showed high qualifications and was highly appreciated by the Customer's management.
