In Verkhny Ufaley, Chelyabinsk region, Polymet Engineering LLC is implementing a large-scale investment project for the construction of a new generation zinc electrolysis plant CAREPLANT with a capacity of 120,000 tons of metallic zinc per year. The number of employees is 820 people. The volume of investments is 26.5 billion rubles. The launch is scheduled for 2024. The company is a resident of the Territory of advanced socio-economic development "Verkhny Ufaley".

Leading domestic design and survey organizations, as well as world leaders in the field of technology and equipment development for metallurgical production, are involved in the design and equipment of the enterprise. This guarantees a high level of industrial and environmental safety of the enterprise.

The dominant feature of the CAREPLANT project, which is emphasized by its authors and developers, is the high responsibility for occupational safety and the preservation of workers' health. Safety is guaranteed by flagship technologies in all production processes, including in the approach to lighting in production.

As part of the implementation of this project, energy-efficient Philips LED lamps have been used.
