Project implementation

Mikhailovskiy GOK is a Russian producer of iron ore feedstock. It is located in Zheleznogorsk of the Kursk Oblast. The plant is a part of the Metalloinvest Metallurgical Holding.

At this facility, a pilot project of Philips - has been implemented: a small experimental project implemented to discover potential complications and significant factors which may impact the main project and its result.

Project achievements:

This project was a pilot project for Metalloinvest enterprises. Philips lamps were installed on the Separation Section, metering devices were installed in the lighting cabinets to record the actual savings and confirm the declared payback period. After the successful implementation of the pilot project, our team gained access to the Customer's sites and began consistent work on replacing the lighting system at the Customer's enterprises. In the period from 2014 to 2017, our team implemented projects to modernize three main Customer sites, these are: Mikhailovsky GOK, Lebedinsky GOK, Oskol Electrometallurgical Combine.
