Metallurgical Plant Elektrostal JSC is one of the leading enterprises producing special—purpose steels and alloys for high-tech industries. It was founded on November 17, 1917, which is considered the company's birthday. In 1923, the country's first stainless steel was smelted, in 1924 the production of magnetic steel was mastered, in 1926 the production of ball bearing steel, in 1932 the first batches of nichrome were obtained.
During the war, the plant produced steel for the production of Katyusha rockets, T-34 tanks, and Il-2 attack aircraft.
In the 1960s, the plant participated in the Buran aerospace program, mastered the production of superplastic superalloys for a new generation of jet engines.
In January 1993, the Elektrostal plant was transformed into a joint-stock company.

Project achievements:

The BM-ELECTRO company has successfully completed a bright (in every sense) project to modernize the lighting system on the territory of the legendary Elektrostal metallurgical plant in the city of the same name.

We have replaced outdated and "dim" solutions with ultramodern and energy-efficient Philips LED lamps, literally illuminating the working days of metallurgists.

The main characters of the project were the innovative Philips BVP432 and Philips BY698P G5 models, which not only made the life of the plant's employees much brighter, but also provided impressive energy savings of 68%!

Now the Elektrostal plant not only melts metal, but also saves electricity just as effectively and efficiently!
